I designed this blueberry after I painted blueberries on my nails and fell in love with them. They were super fun to paint and they are one of my favorite nail designs so far.
This cute blueberry would make a very adorable Christmas tree ornament, cat toy or decoration for the home. If it's made with a lighter weight yarn, the blueberry will be different in size and if the yarn is thread, they could make really cute earrings!

- 6.5 mm crochet hook
- Mary Maxim Starlette Chunky Yarn or a Bulky Weight Yarn
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- Sugar N Cream Cotton Yarn or Worsted Weight Yarn

- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- inv sc dec: invisible single crochet decrease
- hdc: half double crochet
- dc: double crochet
- tc: triple crochet
- sl st: slip stitch

The blueberry pattern can be worked with any weight yarn and the appropriate crochet hook but the finished size will be different.
Start with blue yarn:
R1: Make a magic ring or a loose slip knot, ch 1 and put 8 sc into the center. = 8
Pull on the tail end to close the hole.
R2: 2sc into each st around. =16
R3: *2sc, sc. Repeat from the * around. =24
R4-R7: sc into each st around. = 24
Weave in the tail end, flip right side out and start stuffing with polyester fiber fill.
R8: *inv sc dec, sc. Repeat from the * around. =16
R9: inv sc dec into each st around. =8
Cut the yarn, pull through the last stitch and close the hole at the top of the blueberry. Weave in the ends.
Leaf (make 2)
With green yarn and size 4.00 mm hook:
R1: Make a magic ring or loose slip knot, ch 1, (hdc, dc, tc) into the center, ch 2, sl st to the 1st ch, (dc, hdc) into the center, ch 1 and sl st into the center. = 7
Pull on the tail end to close the hole.
Cut the yarn, pull through the last stitch, sew to the top of the blueberry and weave in the ends.
