Lately, I've been on a kick of designing small, beginner friendly projects that work up very quickly for immediate satisfaction. I still love a pattern that takes days or even weeks but a short one is so fun too!

CAT PATTERN

- Size H Hook 5.00 mm
- Worsted weight yarn
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Small buttons
Abbreviations
- ch: chain
- yo: yarn over
- sl st: slip stitch
- dc: double crochet
Notes
- Approximate size with worsted weight yarn and H 5.00 mm crochet hook is: 2" wide and 2" tall. Using a different size hook and yarn will result in a different size cat.
- Suggestion: If using a different weight yarn, use the recommended crochet hook size on the label of the yarn.
R1: Make a magic ring or a loose slip knot, ch 2 (does not count as a st) and put 14 dc into the center, sl st to the 1st dc of the round.=14
Pull on the tail end to close the hole.
R2: ch 2, sl st into the 1st ch, sl st into the same st, sl st into the next 3 sts, ch 2, sl st into the 1st ch, sl st into the same st. =2 cat ears
Cut the yarn, pull through the last stitch, weave in the ends and add whiskers.
