Easy Crochet Pumpkin Applique Decoration

Happy Fall! I love this time of year, the cooler weather, leaves changing color, sweaters, hot chocolate, and pumpkins! I think pumpkins are so cute and I still remember the first pumpkin I ever picked out, as a child. It's so festive and whimsical to see a street lined with pumpkins, and oh my! the pies are so yummy. This crochet pumpkin applique is fast and so easy! And if you need any help, I have a video tutorial too! These pumpkins can be used as embellishments, decorations and I turned mine into magnets and have gifted them to friends and relatives.

THE PATTERN

Materials:

• H 5.00 mm hook
• Worsted weight yarn
• Scissors
• Darning needle

Abbreviations:

ch: chain

yo: yarn over

sl st: slip stitch

dc: double crochet

R1: Make a magic ring or a loose slip knot, ch 2 and put 7 dc into the center. Put another dc into the center but color change to brown, sl st into the center and ch 2 or 3. 

Cut the yarn, pull through the last stitch and weave in the ends.
