We Dyed Some Easter Eggs!

Hello! This weekend is Easter so yesterday, Isaac and I dyed some Easter Eggs after school!
We laid out all of our supplies and decided that we wanted to try stamping the eggs first and then we would dye the eggs in the Easter egg dye.

.
But we found out pretty quickly that stamping eggs is not that easy.

First we found out that most of my stamps were actually too big for the eggs. Then we found out that the stamps slide on the egg shells very easy! Also, the ink takes forever to dry (a couple of ours are still not dry) and excess ink came off in the dye baths, making the dye baths dirty. I would suggest stamping the stamp on a piece of paper before stamping the eggs. Also, it might work better to stamp the eggs after dying them.

But I do think some of our eggs turned out really pretty and cute and we had a lot of fun dying and decorating them, even if Isaac did get a little bored during the actual dying process and left to play some Guitar Hero. That's a kid for ya. :)

Did ya'll dye any Easter eggs this year? What kind of techniques did ya'll use? Comment below or tag me on instagram @_with_alex so I can see how yours turned out! I hope ya'll are having a wonderful day and I hope ya'll have a wonderful Easter too!

Happy Easter!

Soft hugs and Never Give Up! <3Alex
