3/3 RC And 3/3 LC In Tunisian Crochet

Hey ya'll! I have another cable stitch tutorial for ya'll today! This is a part of my new Tunisian Cable Series! The 3/3 RC and 3/3 LC are cable stitches that can be used to create beautiful cables. Scroll down for the video tutorial and written instructions.

YARN USED

Today I used Uptown Worsted for this project. I love using this yarn because it is so soft and there are so many beautiful colors to choose from.

TOOLS USED


THE 1/1 RC OR RIGHT CROSS

This cable stitch uses 6 stitches.

Written Instructions

Method 1: With A Cable Stitch Holder

  • Tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches, slide these 3 stitches off of the hook and onto the cable stitch holder and hold in back.
  • With the hook, tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches.
  • Slide the 3 stitches from the cable stitch holder onto the hook and continue on.

Method 2: With A 2nd Crochet Hook

  • Drop the main hook and use the second hook to make a tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches and hold this hook in the back.
  • Use the main hook to tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches.
  • Slide the 3 stitches from the second hook to the main hook and continue on.

THE 1/1 LC OR LEFT CROSS

Written Instructions

Method 1: With A Cable Stitch Holder

  • Tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches, slide these 3 stitches off of the hook and onto the cable stitch holder and hold in front.
  • With the hook, tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches.
  • Slide the 3 stitches from the cable stitch holder onto the hook and continue on.

Method 2: With A 2nd Crochet Hook

Drop the main hook and use the second hook to make a tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches and hold this hook in the front.

Use the main hook to tunisian knit stitch into the next 3 stitches.

Slide the 3 stitches from the second hook to the main hook and continue on.
