Lovely Bobble Shawl Crochet Pattern

Hello! Light pink and bobble stitches? Yes, please! Today I have a new free pattern for ya'll that I hope ya'll love as much as I do! The Lovely Bobble Shawl was featured in the January Vintage Issue of Happily Hooked Magazine and now I'm so excited to share it with ya'll! Scroll down for the free pattern!

Early last year I became a little obsessed with bobble stitches. I love the look and the texture that a bobble stitch creates and so I decided to design a shawl with this beautiful stitch. I wanted it to have a good drape and I wanted it to be very thick, cozy and warm. I knew the bobble stitch could make the fabric very dense and unpleasant so I worked the stitches between the bobbles into chains so that it would create a nice, airy but thick and cozy fabric that would drape beautifully.

The first step was to pick a yarn. I chose Lion Brand's Pound Of Love so that I would have plenty of yarn to work with, plus I love the pastel pink, so pretty! After I tested and frogged a couple of designs, I was on my way and I had no stress about running out of yarn. I had so much fun crocheting this shawl and I absolutely am thrilled with how it turned out, exactly how I pictured! Plus, I am so blessed that my younger sister modeled it for me and she did an amazing job.

The Lovely Bobble Shawl uses the bobble stitch and the moss stitch to create an interesting texture
with a beautiful drape. This is a fun triangle shawl with tassels that can be worn as a shawl or a scarf
and the texture creates a thick warm fabric that can be worn all winter, but it can be worn on those super chilly spring mornings too!
