This morning I woke up a little late (thanks to summer vacation and the kiddo is at home) rolled out of bed, with the frizziest bed hair I might add, and hobbled to the bathroom. I took my morning medications with a bottle of water, grabbed my phone and headed downstairs to check my messages in front of my HappyLight by Verilux.

You might think that I'm just playing on my phone but in reality, I am working as a crochet designer, blogger, youtuber, influencer and I'm getting a dose of light therapy from my HappyLight. After just 30 minutes, I can feel myself becoming more energized, I'm more optimistic and not as depressed and anxious as when I first woke up. I have several chronic illnesses, and for me, waking up is hard. As soon as my mind clears and I'm awake, the pain and reality set in. I'm sick, everyday.
