Hello! Have you ever crocheted a hat from the bottom up and then didn't know how to close the hole at the top of the hat? Well, I've made a picture tutorial to help you out! Scroll down for the tutorial.
How To Close The Hole At The Top Of A Crochet Hat
After finishing the hat. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail long enough to stitch the hole at the top of the hat closed. Draw the yarn through and thread the yarn through a darning needle.
Insert the needle through the next stitch in the front loop only and draw the needle through.
Repeat around the top of the hat until you come to the first stitch.
Pull on the tail end to close the hole.
Thread the needle through the stitches and pull tight.
Make a knot and thread through the hat to the wrong side.
Weave in the ends.
