Japanese Steakhouse Style Soup

Hello! One of my favorite restaurants ever is a Japanese steakhouse. I love the food there and the soup is so wonderful! I've never tasted anything like it until I came up with my very own version! I think it is so delicious and yummy and spectacular and amazing. Can you guess that I'm in love with this soup? Well, I am and I've shared pictures of this soup on my social media and it was so popular that I decided to make a video tutorial! Scroll down for the recipe, written instructions and the video tutorial.

Japanese Steakhouse Style Soup

Prep Time

20 minutes

Cooking Time

30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, cut into chunks
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 cups of vegetable broth
  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • mushrooms
  • green onions
  • optional: egg noodles

Directions

Cut the carrots into large slices, cut the celery stalks and onion into large chunks and mince the garlic.

In a large pot, add the carrots, celery stalks, onion, and the garlic. Add the vegetable broth and the chicken broth. Add the beef bouillon cubes and the salt and pepper.

Give the soup a quick stir, turn the heat on and bring to a boil. Cover the pot with a lid and lower the temperature so that it can simmer for 30 minutes.

While the soup is simmering, cut the mushrooms and green onions into slices.

After the soup has simmered for 30 minutes, strain it. You can choose to leave in the vegetables if you would like.

Add however many sliced mushrooms and green onions to a bowl that you would like.

Pour the soup over the mushrooms and green onions.

Optional: Add egg noodles if you would like.

The End!
