A few weeks ago was my nephew, Zia's birthday. Zia and his little brother LOVE Pokemon and the new game, Pokemon Go. I have to admit that we play it as a family, the 3 of us (my fiance Sean, my son Isaac and me) too and it is a lot of fun. We walk around the neighborhood and we take car rides and play as well. Scroll down for the free pattern of the pokeball inspired hat.
Before the end of summer, we planned Isaac's first sleep over with his cousin Zia. I planned to make a fort, have movies and popcorn, games, homemade pancakes in the morning, and I also crocheted them a pokeball to play with. For the free pattern that I used, click here. They loved it and the boys had a blast! So I absolutely knew that he would love a Pokeball inspired hat for his birthday. I looked for patterns online but I could not find any that used the yarn and hook size that I wanted so I made up my own pattern. Scroll down for the written pattern.
And I was right, he definitely loves it!!! Now I just need to make one for his little brother, Thomas. They both look so cute in it!
